As usability engineer and product designer in R&D, I worked with portfolio managers to turn client and market requirements into concrete, usable features. That included the redesign of the Assignment Table, a core tool for managing complex material and variant assignments, and the Jacketing features. In both cases, the work was taking dense, expert-level workflows and making them clearer, faster and less prone to errors. I worked closely with the Stellar and DSTELLAR rendering teams so that design decisions held up against the technical realities of the rendering pipeline. The role became a communication hub. I connected QA, portfolio managers, clients, internal stakeholders, developers and other design teams, and at times business strategy and marketing too. My job was to make sure everyone was building the same product for the same user.
